There are tons of such sites/companies that will issue a travel insurance & will issue a letter with all the wordings mentioned by the consulate. You are possibly looking at abt $50-60 bucks depending on your coverage (lowest specified by consulate ) & length of stay (15 days)
You can ask Humana to issue you a letter stating to coverage amount that you will be covered while on your visit to Sweden. When I was traveling to Italy, my insurance company did issue me such a letter & I didn't have to buy anything.

I entered US in 2001 on H1B and have not left the country since then. Unfortunately within few months of coming to US, I had a fight with my wife and was charged of domestic violence. This charge was later reduced and I was convicted of a simple battery.
Now if I travel overseas and come back on AP (I intend to use my approved AP instead of going for H1B stamping), can I be denied entry to US at port of entry because of my criminal charge?
Anyone in the same situation or know someone in this situation? Was there any issue in there re entry into US?

IV is for legal immigrants. But what if a legal immigrant is a pedophile? Will this forum provide advice to such people? We can either take the approach that IV is for all legal immigrants, criminals or otherwise. Or we can say that we have to draw the line somewhere. This is a decision we have to take as a community. While I don't decide for this community, my opinion is that those who have been convicted for DUI, wife beating, etc should not benefit from this site.

Same here. All filed at NSC. Filed for EAD and AP on Aug 10th. Checks got cleared on Aug 24th. But did not get the reciept notice yet. Why is it taking so long a time to get the REceipt notices for EAD/AP, where my checks were cleared a couple of weeks ago.
Filed for 485 on July 18th, checks not cleared yet. Already my LC that was filed in July-2002 was denied due to the careless mistake of the attorney/employer. So, Keeping my fingers crossed.
BTW: Do, you know what # should I dial to contact USCIS to get info on I485/EAD/AP.

My parents travelled both on Cathay and JAL. Cathay has better food , but the flight to SFO is really long. They had used JAL before which has approx 8-10 hrs for each leg. Also, on the return , there is a days halt , so they provide a hotel. My parents took a small tour of the area too.

I am EB2 with Jan 2005 Priority date, I have used AC21 and send documents before through attorney.
For my self
1. Now I got RFE on current employement and offer of proposed employment (description of position) and offered salary
2. Current address proof
For my Spouse
1. Missing G325-A need to submit one (but I did send them initially)
2. Evidence that you maintained non immigrant status
Please let me know if there is any attorney who is good and affordable

How complicated will the life be if one changes job after 3 yr. extension of H1 based on approved I-140 ?
How complicated is life for u now, if current employer making life hell then changing job with 3 yr. extension is best option, provided u workout with the employer that they don't cancel the 140 after u move or u cannot port the priority date ....
If u know employer will cancel 140 at any cost if u move then decide is it still worth staying or moving. these days PERM and 140 premium taking like 6 months
BUT wait until Feb/March the immg lobby is trying to pass some bills for us if it goes thru will b good but u can float ur resume and start interview process ....

My sister in law will come to US using H4 visa, the problem is the health insurance does not want to cover her pregnancy since the pregnancy is already 6 months.
Any idea how to get insurance for her ?

For private courier (non usps deliveries) there is different address please see in the Instruction on completing I-765 form on USCIS website.
I send my application via fedex today to following address..

Lincoln, NE 68508-1225
I am not sure of USCIS P.O. Box address, but in general Fedex can't be sent to USPS P.O. Box.
Very rarely USCIS gives street address for sending application.

Very good list of people in IV board...it will help to bring visibility.
I can understand CIR is held up/hostage etc, but once CIR is abandoned, and piecemeal
strategy comes, IV does need greater visibility against competing lobbies like foreign nurse, etc.

It really will not matter a whole lot whether you mark Yes to all three or only to the third one. What you do need to do is attach an explanation (that your wife has filed 485, copy of 485 receipt and cover letter explaining that it was filed as a "dependent" petition to your immigration petition).
This questions (all three of them) are designed to screen people with immigrant intent (the whole purpose is to answer the question: does this person have immigrant intent) and once you answer one of them yes, it serves the purpose.
Immigrant intent does not matter for H, O, P visa categories as they are exempt from sec 214(b).
So in nutshell, it would not matter whether you mark all three yes or only third one yes. If I were to be you, I will mark them all yes and attach the explanation (very brief, with highlighted statement that says that she has filed 485 and receipt is attached).
