Then the article served its purpose. Until advertisers stop paying for page views and start paying only for click throughs this click baiting crap will continue. Posting links to this kind of stuff only makes it worse. Summarize or post the article here, with attribution, if you actually think it is worth comment.

Excellent news! I think we can infer from this that Apple has nothing more then a skeleton crew working on 4.x at this point. I am sure all resources are hard at work on 5.x .
Cant blame them, they probably got more important things to focus on than patching jailbreaks.
Hope they become more lenient on JB in general.

Maybe he just has a hard time deciding on which of these two cases to get and is asking for help from the mac rumors cumunity.
OP:
Better than a pool is to go on and read some reviews or watch some on youtube. Both are nice cases but also they both have problems. The Commuter stretetches and is hard to put on. The candyshell scratches like crazy.

Hi all, I recently rebooted and have noticed a small blue "bubble" on my screen. It is transparent and turns opaque when you mouse over it. If you click on it, it activates the function usually assigned to the F10 key for Expose. I can move it around the screen like something from Konfabulator. I do have both Konfabulator and Growl installed, but they are both off right now.. and this thing still won't go away. Any help?

What the heck is a brother printer?
This is a term I am unfamiliar with.
You need to get out more, and it's crucially a capital "B." :)

Informationweek article (http://www.informationweek.com/news/hardware/supercomputers/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=229202772)
Jack Dongarra, a computing expert at the University of Tennessee who helped design the technology used in testing systems on the Top 500 list, said he expects more 10-petaflop-plus systems next year. "Everything is moving along according to Moore's law, so things are doubling every 18 months, roughly," Dongarra told InformationWeek.
Dongarra predicted computer makers in 2017 will have 100-petaflop systems, with "exascale" systems between 2018 and 2020. An exascale, or extreme-scale, computer is expected to be a thousand times faster than a petascale system. "All of these things are dependent on funding," Dongarra said in an interview. "This will happen if the funding is in place for those machines."
100 petaflops is 10^17 FLoating-point OPperations/Second.
I'll be sure to buy a desktop 100 petaflop Mac so I can read my email much faster than I can now. :D
Seriously, it's incredible to think about the types of simulations they'll be able to run, including much more sophisticated weather models. However, this article (http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1062325) said that we'll need 1 zettaflops for full weather simulation. That's 10^21 operations/second!

What were the airport issues you were having? At home, my wireless seems a bit quicker to load pages, but at Borders, I notice that my computer finds the wireless connection way faster and connects equally fast.

There is nothing wrong with buying ram from a 3rd party. Check out OWC. (http://www.macsales.com/)
I've used OWC for ages, but I've been through two of their NuRAM sets for my Mini and have had serious problems (kernel panics, memtest errors, etc).
I just picked up an 8GB G.Skill pair from newegg for $70. Here's a list (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007609+600000401+600006178+600000445&QksAutoSuggestion=&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Configurator=&IsNodeId=1&Subcategory=381&description=&Ntk=&CFG=&SpeTabStoreType=&srchInDesc=) of DDR3 PC8500 ram.

The 6970 came out this year.
@OP: Yes it will handle decent gaming for about that time, but expect that you may have to play future games at slightly lower setting over the time.
No, the 6970 is a 2 year old card. It may have come OUT this year.

I suggest the NZXT cooler.

As a former PC builder, I always used Zalman case and CPU fans, that said, we are talking about laptop coolers, of the 3 presented here, I like your choice the best:cool:

Totally depends on what software you want to run and expected number of users. Also does it have to be OSX?
Mac Pro isn't an ideal full time server since you are spending money on video card, Bluetooth, I/O ports, airport, etc.
I don't really agree with this. The costs for Bluetooth an Airport are insignificant, and if you're a small shop, you'll want a GPU in your server (just not a high end one.)
And less I/O ports for a server? Servers should have plenty of I/O ports, especially when you need to do diagnostics. Yeah, maybe the Mac Pro comes with a few too many USB ports, but that's not the worst problem to have.
No more rack mount is kind of a killjoy, but not every shop uses racks anyway.
